Making Connections While Social Distancing

Facebook live events (3).png

The negative impacts of isolation are far-reaching for all older adults, and can be detrimental to those living with dementia. We will discuss resources and creative strategies for maintaining connection between families, communities, and individuals living with dementia in the time of COVID-19 and beyond.

This is part of "Fun and Wellness at Home," a series of activities designed to help keep our participants, seniors and community members engaged as they continue staying home to keep safe from Coronavirus. You may register by completing the form below. Registration is recommended, but not required.

This Facebook Live Program is presented in cooperation with The Friends of CenterLight Foundation and Inspired Memory Care.

Inspired’s mission is to collaborate with families, professionals, and individuals living with memory impairment in order to maintain a vibrant, connected lifestyle -- keeping family relationships alive and minimizing challenging behaviors. We strive to do this through a combination of environment, communication and routine-based adaptations -- which can often serve as non-pharmacologic interventions.
