Each day at CenterLight Healthcare Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), we strive to provide fun, therapeutic recreation programs for our participants.
Recently, our PACE center in Westchester transformed into a carnival. Participants enjoyed carnival games and other activities in a fully decorated center on this special day. Our participants had fun spending the day with each other and with our staff as they pretended to be at the country fair. It was such a great day, and our participants had a blast!
“Oh, Boy! The carnival was so much fun and a great way to exercise,” said participant Pamella Rose.
CenterLight Healthcare PACE takes pride in ensuring that our participants have access to safe recreational activities designed to meet their needs and cultural preferences. Our participants are regularly offered more than 100 activities per month at each of our PACE Centers, including arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting, cooking classes, music, field trips, and bingo.
In addition, we encourage our participants to stay up to date with our Facebook page to view more fun educational and recreational activities they can do to stay healthy and active.
