NEW YORK, NY — July 13, 2026 — CenterLight Healthcare's Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) hosted "A Day in the Life of a Participant," an open house at its Manhattan location, giving community members a glimpse at the moments, activities, and programs that make each day meaningful for the older adults they serve.
The event featured activities and an exhibit showcasing participant creativity from CenterLight's PACE centers across New York, as well as demonstrations from their nutrition and social work teams. Tara Buonocore-Rut, President and Chief Executive Officer of CenterLight Health System, spoke about the diversity of the organization's centers, saying, "Each center is completely different — the participants come from different backgrounds and have unique traditions and preferences. There's a mix of cultures in each center, and we are proud to be able to offer personalized care as unique as each of the individuals we serve."
Attendees enjoyed a live concert from the CenterLight Stillwell PACE Center Choir, danced Bachata with therapeutic recreation specialists and participants, practiced tai chi, and took part in a Jintronix interactive game session led by a member of their rehabilitation services team.
"These are all things our participants get to experience, and we work to ensure that our services and programs meet their diverse needs. It's all about helping them remain living in the communities they call home and making sure that social engagement is never lost in the aging process," Buonocore-Rut added.
“Day in the Life” also showcased how CenterLight's care team works together to support participants' physical, social, and emotional well-being.
The event reflected the organization’s commitment to honoring the individual needs, backgrounds and interests of every participant while strengthening relationships within the community. By showcasing real examples of how PACE works, CenterLight aims to raise awareness of the benefits of all-inclusive are to older adults.
